CHIMDI M. OHAHUNA|COMMANDING THE YEAR 2025| RESTORATION Series - DAY 7: THE GOD OF PROCESS - Embracing the Journey to Transformation
Key Scripture:
Psalm 126:1-4 - "When the Lord restored the well-being of Zion, we thought we were dreaming. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues were singing joyful songs. Then they said among the nations, 'The Lord has done great things for them.' Restore our well-being, O Lord, like the streams in the arid south."
In this powerful episode of the Restoration Series, we reflect on the profound statement of awe found in Psalm 126:1-4: “We were like them that dream.” A sudden turnaround is not the result of random occurrences but the culmination of built-up faith and the full course of patience. Our God is a God of process, as seen in the creation of Heaven and Earth in Genesis 1.
The journey of transformation is never linear. Just as Joseph's experience took him through severe trials before he found himself in the palace, so too are we often led through challenging paths before reaching our divine destination. Before God turns you around, it often appears impossible. He allows us to reach our lowest points to refine us for greater heights.
We explore how God permits our reputations and circumstances to be seemingly ruined, only to elevate us when we've ceased our struggles and let go of alternatives. This episode emphasizes that God orchestrates every twist and turn in our lives to teach us absolute faith and trust in Him, and to build our character.
Understanding that those who have not learned through suffering cannot effectively guide others in similar trials, we highlight the importance of enduring delayed gratification. Such endurance is essential for experiencing sudden turnarounds and restoration. The journey through captivity—be it the pit, the prison, or Potiphar's house—should instill wisdom within us.
In a world where humanism often becomes idolatry, this episode reminds us that God takes us through processes to mold us into who He wants us to be. He prepares us for sudden turnarounds so that we are not overwhelmed by the blessings when they come.
Join us as we delve into these truths, understanding that God's process engrains virtues in us, enabling us to stand strong and continue on the path of success when our turnaround happens.

This episode is a beacon of hope and insight, emphasizing that true transformation is a divine process that prepares us for the greatness God has in store.
---
We invite you to share your reflections and experiences on this journey of restoration. Let's continue to walk this path together, led by faith and the certainty of God's promises.
Grace to you!
