Recommended - a little different
I was drawn to this book by the excellent cover and author biography. The authorâs knowledge of anatomy and physiology proved to be a necessity given the story. Readers of medical stories will love this. This book, as has been all of the last few books I have read, has had a unique authorâs style I love that. Sadly, readers who get stuck into a genre mould often donât read works outside of what they know. I hope readers will be open to reading this book with its slightly different tense and style to much of todayâs commercial genre fiction.
These were strong elements of philosophy and science through the book. I have to confess to speedreading those parts that seemed religious view and I tuning back in for the science. I was always conscious that I was reading a book, by that I meant that I never quite became hooked by the characters and story. This isnât a book that will leave an indelible impression on me, as two out of four of my last reads have done. Having said that, I discovered this book during a free book promotion, and today, as I write the review, I see that it is priced at .99cents. The book is excellent value if sold at a reasonable price range, and Iâd recommend it for something a little different.
Liked a lot mostly because it's Karma based

Could not put it down . The story is very engaging, so well written, so "real". Highly recommended. Wish there's a sequel.

Review
This is a fascinating book that weaves together diverse themes of science, spirituality, workplace intrigue and relationships into an evocative story.
It tracks the professional and spiritual development of Divya, the protagonist, who struggles to come to terms with a traumatic childhood experience that shapes her future as a 'doctor's doctor' - a pathologist.
