"One person caring about another represents life's greatest value." Jim Rohn
Not long after the Great Recession of 2008 a small radio station in North Carolina saw a huge need among struggling local businesses trying to stay alive. One day in a brainstorming meeting the Commerce Club was born. Within months, over 400 businesses joined this networking group to connect and refer to each other. One of the perks of joining was a free interview on my radio show, Taking Care of Business that aired twice a week for an hour.
It was at this station that I met Kena Cooper when she was first hired to do some office work. She shared her powerful story with me in a recent interview. Kena is a true Barnabas Leader and understands the importance and power of encouragement. This is her story.
