NASA's Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 probes continued their trip through the solar system throughout the 1980s and 1990s. While Voyager 2 captured the first images of Uranus and Neptune, scientist Carl Sagan pushed for NASA to power up Voyager 1's cameras for one last time.
