Isabel Alvarez Arata founded The Wag Pack in 2008 after recognizing the need for a specialized pet sitting company that would offer outstanding service, personalized care, and unparalleled peace of mind to Northern Virginia residents. Isabel has since received various industry honors including the NAPPS 2012 Business of the Year Award and NAPPS 2014 President’s Award. The Wag Pack staffs a team of 15-20 dog walkers/pet sitters and is consistently recognized as one of the DC area’s best pet care companies by publications such as Washingtonian Magazine. Isabel is a PetTech Pet First Aid Instructor and has written a number of pet-related articles for numerous online and print publications.

Outside of her work as The Wag Pack Founder and General Manager, Isabel helps other small businesses.
