Tim Ball of Knockdown Golf (@knockdowngolf on IG) joins the podcast today to discuss some ideas in New England golf. You’ve likely seen Tim’s excellent photography and course reviews on Instagram, and he definitely gets around and sees some pretty interesting places. We had a good conversation about New England golf, including some under-the-radar gems to check out, as well as updates on the current situation, which is continuing to develop at Cape Cod Country Club, as one of the most unique courses on the Cape looks like it will be no more after this season. I am sure more details will follow. Tim is one of the consistently interesting and informed voices in the world of New England golf, and we really appreciated him coming on the pod.

*In fact, since we recorded the podcast last week, there was even more news on Cape Cod CC, and there was a small (largely symbolic) victory that occurred over the last few days at the town level.. Check out Tim’s stuff @knockdowngolf (on IG) for more info- he’s done a nice job of updates. Big golf outlets continue to spread the word, and Forbes Magazine also picked up the story this week. Real hope is probably temporary, but it’s good to see attention, even at this late hour, paid to a really unique place in New England golf.
