Today's episode starts in on the storyline of Genesis 1 and what it tells us about how God created the world. Through it, we'll see evidence of who He is and his original purpose for the creation.
We will also learn what makes the Genesis creation account unique by comparing it with other ancient creation myths. Instead of multiple attempts at creation or conflict that brings about the creation, we will see how reality responds to God's mere word, and that He creates order and structure out of nothing.
Finally, we'll explore the concept of the "ciruit of beneficence"—that nature is built on the principle of selfless giving, and that God built this principle into nature to teach us more of who He is and what He is like
