All throughout the Scriptures, God reveals that He cannot allow sin to go unpunished. Ultimately, the believer’s sin was judged and punished when Jesus Christ became the sacrifice for sin on the cross. Yet, the reality still lingers that God is holy, and when a people group rebelliously defies Him, there is an expiration date for His mercy to them. Could it be that the United States has already crossed that mercy-threshold? I believe this is absolutely true.
