Back in August of 2021 I met Jocko Willink at his Origin Camp in Maine, and had him record the soundbyte at the start of these episodes. I met someone else that week - my buddy Jake Blanchard. But funnily enough, I completely forgot about this meeting until Cordi and I appeared on his podcast a few months back.

Jake's story actually has a lot of parallels with Matt Enns from my last episode (Cordi and I have been slacking on recording episodes, so you get back to back guest interviews this week).

His story is truly inspiring. He went from essentially an absent father given his constant travel for work to finding massive success at his own business, allowing him the freedom to become an excellent dad and husband at home. Jake is a massive inspiration for me as a business owner, athlete, podcaster and family man, and I am honored to consider him a friend.
