About two and a half years ago, Chad's sons were sleeping just down the hal when he opened his gun safe, grabbed a pistol, and put the muzzle to his head.

Since he's appearing on my podcast right now, you can guess how that story ends.

Ultimately, this incident prompted him and his wife to start looking at some alternative treatment methods, putting him onto the path he walks today.

Chad is the founder of Mental Joe, a nonprofit that promotes TRE therapy for PTSD and sells apparel with some pretty slick designs. The proceeds of his sales all go towards funding access to psychedelic medicines for veterans struggling with mental health as he once did.
