As the visibility of the children of Israel grows, so does the opposition. After the defeat of many of the people on the east side of the Jordan River, Balak, the king of the Moabites, decided on a plan. He was going to invite the prophet Balaam to come and curse the children of Israel. This is the second part of the Balaam story.
