I tried for years to make sense of the Christian life.

I wanted to be god's guy, but as Paul said, I couldn't carry it out.

Here was my dilemma, the only thing I knew to do when I failed was to "try harder."funny thing the phrase "try harder" isn't in the Bible.

And for me , the harder I tried, the more I sinned.
