Penny shares the journey of birthing her two sons, at Hospital & at home. Penny chose to not have hospital scans and to labour at home, Supported by her husband and close friends/doula, She spoke of how her journey through breathwork and yoga supported her birthing journeys. Being open and surrendering to the unpredictable nature of childbirth and having the confidence in her bodies ability to birth guided her to bring her babies earthside. After being subject to harmful language used by a Doctor during her first birth, Penny and her partner returned to the comfort of their home soon after, so grateful they decided to return home when they did as to not have experienced negative talk around the diagnosis of Achondroplasia with their first born. Penny talks about their journey around this diagnosis and how it impacted their family when their was was 6 months earthside. Sophie Wild shares with us her amazing journey of unravelling the beliefs she held and so many of us do around pregnancy and birth and how this began following the loss of her mother. From 5 years ago being sure she would want a c-section to now pregnant with her second baby and choosing to freebirth. Sophie shares her magical home birth experience how it was really nature at it's best supported by her partner James and independent midwife, Jo.
