Part 10 - "A Life of Wisdom is a Life of Learning"
Proverbs 9:9 NIV
Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning.
"A Life of Wisdom is a Life of Learning."
Learning should be a LIFE-LONG PURSUIT.
Proverbs 18:15 NIV
The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, for the ears of the wise seek it out.
Proverbs 1:5 ESV
Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance
Learning should be FILTERED through BIBLICAL TRUTH
Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
Psalm 25:4-5 ESV
Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths.Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.
2 Timothy 3:1-7 NIV
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholywithout love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the goodtreacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of Godhaving a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.
Learning should be BUILDING our CHARACTER

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 15:32-33 NIV
Those who disregard discipline despise themselves, but the one who heeds correction gains understanding.Wisdom’s instruction is to fear the LORD, and humility comes before honor.
Proverbs 19:25-27 NIV
Flog a mocker, and the simple will learn prudence; rebuke the discerning, and they will gain knowledge.Whoever robs their father and drives out their mother is a child who brings shame and disgrace.Stop listening to instruction, my son, and you will stray from the words of knowledge.
Learning MUST be PASSED ON!

Deuteronomy 11:18-21 NIV
Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gatesso that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land the LORD swore to give your ancestors, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth.

Since my youth, God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds.
Psalms 78:4-7 NIV
We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done.He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which he commanded our ancestors to teach their childrenso the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children.Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands.
Judges 2:6-12 NIV
After Joshua had dismissed the Israelites, they went to take possession of the land, each to their own inheritance.The people served the LORD throughout the lifetime of Joshua and of the elders who outlived him and who had seen all the great things the LORD had done for Israel.Joshua son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died at the age of a hundred and ten.And they buried him in the land of his inheritance, at Timnath Heres in the hill country of Ephraim, north of Mount Gaash.After that whole generation had been gathered to their ancestors, another generation grew up who knew neither the LORD nor what he had done for Israel.Then the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the LORD and served the Baals.They forsook the LORD, the God of their ancestors, who had brought them out of Egypt. They followed and worshiped various gods of the peoples around them. They aroused the LORD’s anger
