Online retailer Wayfair has been in some hot water since the hashtag #wayfairgate began trending on Twitter and Instagram. Many social media influencers have brought awareness to the conspiracy that Wayfair has been selling products online at an extremely inflated price with human names that may correspond to disappeared children. Though unproven, the idea that there is an underground child-trafficking ring that Wayfair is participating in, only catering to those willing to pay the exorbitant price for cheap products.
