The WE GO SHOW with Josh and Dan

WE'RE BACK! We missed you! And we're LIVE!

We sat down and talked about dating and relationships based on questions sent in by our students.

It’s a week of firsts for us…the first audio-only episode, and the first FULL LENGTH GUEST of the show! We sat down Wednesday night in Dan’s garage, opened a voice memo, and just let it rip. We talk about trusting God when things are falling apart, learning how to pray, and leaning into Jesus and not our own strength.

The WE GO SHOW is a weekly podcast from Josh Gibson and Daniel Aiello, two pastors at Clovis Hills who love talking about all things youth ministry, current events, church & culture, music. the Giants, and whatever else comes to mind. WE GO.

Today, we recap our monthlong Wednesday night Galatians series and talk about hat it looks like to bear fruit in our walk with Jesus, in spite of our own shortcomings. Plus…dan had some fever dreams, and we talk about personality tests and how people use them as excuses.

We had heard a rumor that warped tour was coming back…so we went down memory lane for a bit reminiscing on some of the best lineups we’ve ever seen, and some fun road trip stories. Plus, we talked about Dan’s tech guy origin story, consistency in ministry and community, old school youth group worship songs that weren’t necessarily even worship songs, Taco Tuesday, TGI Fridays, the $10.99 Teppanyaki lunch specials of the past, Dan’s upcoming Eurotrip, ministering to students after they graduate, and the joy of watching students begin to connect the dots in their faith.

WE GO SIDEQUESTS!

or…we go nudity?)

This episode went ALL over the place!

If you want to get to the Gospel stuff, jump to 37:30.

But..if you want to hear our crazy minds, just listen to the whole thing! We talk about our life’s side quests (including this podcast), homeless naked dudes, Josh’s old band, bands that defined our childhood, hyperpop, writing music with other people, writing worship music, and what it looks like to sit at the feet of Jesus. Buckle up.

In a first for us...the We Go Show has an ACTUAL topic planned from the start! We talk about discipleship in the church and debate some recent social media posts we've seen about it. Plus...Dan's still out completing side quests and we get to see his vacation behind the scenes, and a special canine guest appearance!

It took us an extra week, but we are BACK! This week we dive into gym time and cringey gym kids, selfies, the algorithm, digital sensory overload, online anxiety, the assassination attempts, polarization, peace, and more. Plus, we figure out just where the heck dan's been this month, and Josh attempts to teach Dan about fantasy football. Lock in, WE GO.

This week, the guys recap an awesome weekend with Brian Head Welch from Korn, reminisce about absurdly dangerous youth group games, and talk a bit about the book of Acts. Oh, and Centaur didn't get called this week, so do what you want with that.

Welcome back! This week, we take a journey back to our high school days to share some fun stories, some crazy situations we were in, and how we kinda sucked as students sometimes. Plus, we have a few guests!
