This week we chat with a good friend of ours, Michael Allen! Michael gives us his perspective on living as a black man in America. Michael tells us about "the black tax," his encounters with the police, being called the n-word "as a joke," and even how he struggles with "sounding too white" on the phone. Michael is an amazing guy who approaches life with a positive attitude and while his stories are uncomfortable to hear they are necessary. We can't thank Michael enough for sharing his stories with us.
