Over the last decade since its inception, INTERPOL (The International Criminal Police Organization) has continually worked to prevent and combat crime through enhanced cooperation and innovation in law enforcement. Although INTERPOL remains an indispensable part of the world’s fight against transnational crime, faults in the system have permitted authoritarian nations to weaponize INTERPOL's Red Notice system against their critics.
