Paul was reluctant to boast about anyone except Christ. Yet, because the false teachers in Corinth boasted so much about themselves, Paul said he would boast too. But the difference is that they boasted in their supposed greatness, while he boasted in his weaknesses. The reason is because he discovered that God's strength is made perfect in our weakness.
