And let's talk about that heat index, which could feel as high as 111! Winds are light, coming from the south at around 5 mph and later becoming east.Tonight, you can expect partly cloudy skies with lows settling at around 85 degrees. The east wind will stay light at around 5 mph.Now, looking ahead to your Friday, we've got a minimal 10% chance of showers and thunderstorms developing after 5 pm. But don't let that fool you; it's going to be another boiling day with highs reaching up to 108 degrees. Winds will start from the southeast at 5 to 10 mph before turning west-northwest later in the afternoon.Friday night presents a slight 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 pm. Otherwise, it's going to be mostly clear with lows around 84 degrees. Winds will start east-southeast at 5 to 10 mph, becoming southerly after midnight.For your weekend plans on Saturday, it's mostly sunny and hot, again, with a high near 106 degrees. There's a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 pm. By Saturday night, that same 20% chance of rain lingers before 8 pm, with temperatures dropping to a low around 83.Now, Sunday follows the same pattern: sunny and sizzling with highs near 106. You'll have a 20% chance of thunderstorms after 2 pm, so keep an umbrella handy just in case.Sunday night, there's a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2 am with lows hovering around 82.Moving on to next week, Monday's got a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 pm. But even with that, it’s still hot, folks, with highs near 101.
