A while back we talked about the One Woven Story of the God Story. That there is only ONE testament, not a new AND an old. Today we are getting to know the Originator and Weaver of the Story – and the essence of Who our Creator Father is.
God is a dedicated worker. He set things into motion and then rests. He designed the cosmos so that His creative power would continue even beyond the end of time itself. From the most expansive to the smallest building blocks – He not only does the work, He makes the components out of – nothing!
God is a purposeful weaver. He has initiated a plan and everything is dedicated to one end: the Glory of God the Father! Even though there is incompletion, pain, and chaos around us – there are no mistakes in God’s plan. Though imperfection appears to carry the day throughout history, His Perfection will win over everything (Revelation 22:1-5).
God is a magnificent Heart. No matter how things look on this side of the tapestry, we can count on a beautiful finished work that will eclipse anything that has been lost. This is how it works when You are Goodness itself! (Luke 18:19) And this is Who we know when we find the Father in the Face of Jesus (2 Corinthians 4:6).
Wow. We are speechless.
The Tapestry (how God works)
The Father (Who is He?)
The Father & The Son (Philippians 2:1-11)
