3 - "You are the sunshine of my life." Stars!
The Wedding Affirmation brings us to the end of the Promise Series Novellas. I recommend that you read them in order as the story as a whole develops as each of the girls getâs their happily ever after.
âFate said âitâs timeâ and touched each of us.â
Graci & Neal
Tara & Luis
Corinne & Seth
Adya, Luke & Penny
And finally, the Wedding of Bree & Tony.
Bree has been having a few doubts as her wedding day approaches, and the arrival of her best-friends, in addition to a few freaky occurrences has her questioning whether now is the right time for such a big step.
She loves Tony with all her heart, but marriage...
Tony - âI don't think you ever need to worry about being overshadowed, Sunny. Youâre a blazing light no one could possibly look away from.â
Things don't get off to a good start on her Bachelorette week, and after spending time in the Emergency Room, as well as being interviewed by a couple of store detectives whilst on an innocent shopping trip, Bree begins to wonder if they are all signs trying to tell her something.
Add into that mix two sets of parents that are on opposite ends of the opinions scale, an odd assortment of middle-aged male strippers and a whole lot of pre-wedding nerves (or are they)...
The Wedding Affirmation is a charming ending to what was a really enjoyable series. Bonnie has a great way of pulling you into the story, and with every-one of these books I really felt like âone of the girlsâ. This romance series, is definitely more âmiddle-of-the-roadâ to her usual writing, and a pretty good place to branch out into this genre from. I don't think the reader will be very surprised by the tropes used to round off the series, but what Bonnie does do really well is wrap everything up in general, as well as the couplesâs individually, in one really delightful little package.
