**Last week's highlights:**

- **Monday 8/7:** A series of troubling arson fires impacted the Burbank/Toluca Lake area. Ross and Craig share firsthand experiences as they were both on scene.

- **Tuesday 8/8:** A marathon City Council Meeting stretched on till 1:30 am. Discussions revolved around cost of living adjustments, renovation eviction loopholes, and a potential empowerment of the Landlord Tenant Commission. But sparks flew when Nikki Perez's comments drew a reaction from Nick Shutlz. What's the story there?

- **Wednesday 8/9:** Downtown Burbank was the center of a massive protest urging Congressman Adam Schiff to stake his position on the Armenian border conflict. The Burbank Police were kept on their toes.

- **Friday 8/11:** The new Physical and Occupational Therapy building at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center was inaugurated. However, the day wasn't all celebration - a police arrest at Barnes and Nobles raised eyebrows.

- **Monday 8/14:** Tonight’s Planning Board meeting? Canceled.

- **Tuesday 8/15:** Catch a break from City Council meetings this week as they take a break.
