During my weekly goals, I mentioned our community weekly contest, and I’m excited to announce that it is live right now 🎉
I encourage everyone to visit the community and participate—the contest is open to everyone, including children.
In the video below, I officially invite you all to join the contest themed “Show Us Your Day.”
I’m also participating in the contest today, and here’s why: I found myself remembering our two musical legends, Eedris Abdulkareem and African China, who many years ago used music to speak boldly about corruption and insecurity in Nigeria. Unfortunately, censorship did not allow them to continue freely because of the environment we found ourselves in.
Thinking about them made me smile, as I couldn’t help but wonder what they would be singing about today if they were still fully allowed to express themselves.
