Welcome to episode 96 of the weekly Learn Develop Live podcast, “Why it’s good to refocus where you are going!”  Recently I’ve changed the direction of my own coaching niche and as well as helping those people who want to make a change in their lives, I really want to help those people who work in the retail sector, those people who suffer on a daily basis serving all the lovely ahem rude and abusive people out there.  All the ‘Karens’, whinging individuals who just can’t be helped, even by their own selves.The pain is clear to see, how many times have you walked through a shop and seen 75% of the staff looking incredibly miserable and unhappy?  Long hours, unsociable hours, some working from the opening until the late-night close, we’ve all been there, I know all of these pains and issues from 18 years in the retail world myself so it helps put me in the thick of why people both want to get out and dream of getting out, escaping the shop floor.
