This week, the final hurdle to legal weed was passed. The Trudeau government's Bill C-45 received royal assent, officially becoming the law of the land. It kicks in on October 17th. The companion bill, C-46 also received royal assent, which will give impaired driving laws more teeth. Justin Trudeau spoke to reporters shortly after the bill became law.
