Luke 7:36-50

Faith has a face - a face drenched with tears. A weeping woman, who was a known sinner in her town, approaches Jesus. And what Jesus says to her is surprising. "Your sins are forgiven, go in peace."

Jesus makes it clear that no debt of sin is too big for his forgiveness. Yes, God is serious about sin but he's even more serious about forgiveness through Christ. The gospel always gets the last word.
