John 11:1-44

Jesus was always living from a larger context.

A different context will bring with it different timing.

God’s Timing always brings the most glory to God.

Everything God does is to build our faith.

The larger context always trumps the immediate.

1 Peter 4:1-2

Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin. As a result, they do not live the rest of their earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God.

Helping those Jesus brings life to, is one of the ways that we know that we’re living in the right context.

Big Idea:

In order to fulfill God’s plan in your life you’ll have to take your eyes off the smaller picture/context and get focused on the larger one.
