The Bible says our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. But in today’s culture, we tend to swing between two extremes—treating our bodies casually as if they don’t matter to God, or obsessing over them until they quietly become our identity.
In this episode of The Well with Brittney and Kate, we talk honestly about what Scripture says about honoring God with our bodies.
We dive into topics many Christians struggle to talk about openly: sexuality, self-control, health, stewardship, appearance, and the subtle ways good things can become idols. This conversation isn’t about shame or perfection—it’s about learning to live with wisdom and holiness in a world that constantly pulls us in the opposite direction.
Scripture reminds us:
“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you…? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”
—1 Corinthians 6:19–20
We’re not approaching this topic as people who have it all figured out. We’re talking about it as women who are learning, repenting, growing, and inviting God to reshape the way we think about our bodies and our lives.
Some parts of this episode may challenge you. They challenged us too.
But our goal isn’t comfort—it’s holiness.
