Hiya! Omid, Amir, and Alvan are here for another movie review and this is a tough movie to watch. The Whale stars Brendan Fraser and follows the last week of a morbidly obese man as he tries to reconnect with his estranged daughter. While the performances are great we couldn't help but ask the question, Is The Whale empathic towards its subject matter or reinforces problematic depictions/thoughts?
