The Wheel of Time 24 Hour Podcast-a-Thon
The Fourth Tavern participated in 24 hour podcast-a-thon with other great Wheel of Time podcasts to benefit charity. This event was held on July 24-25th, 2020 and went for 24 hours straight! It was to benefit CyberSmile, a charity dedicated to combat cyberbullying. The event reached 135% of the $5000 goal, by raising $6799! As of this posting, you can still donate to the cause by going to justgiving.com
Marc and I start off by talking with the organizers of the event, Joe and Tom from tWOTcast, and then move into talking about the great generals and captains in the Wheel of Time. We discuss the Five Great Captains Gareth Bryne, Pedron Niall, Davram Bashere, Rodel Ituralde, and Lord Agelmar Jagad. As well as other great leaders of the Third Age, and discuss Mat - is he considered to be one of the great captains?

We close the podcast episode out chatting a bit with The Asha'man from The Black Tower as their turn came up.
