Rand's origin story is revealed. In the aftermath of Mat's abandonment, the group begins to fight amongst each other, while fighting against their deepest fears and insecurities. Forced to seek refuge in the city of Fal Dara, grievances are aired, relationships are fractures, formed, and repaired. One of the group realizes they are the Dragon Reborn, and makes a tough decision to protect the rest.
