An heiress named Marie arrives at her eccentric and dying uncle's old manse to wait for the reading of the will upon his imminent death. While there, she discovers his extensive collection of shrunken heads from early adventurous expeditions in his youth. One particular head frightens her so much she is thrust into a full blown nightmare and swears the next morning that the head came after her in her sleep. Like all episodes of The Whistler, there is some sort of twist or revelation at the end that you won't see coming. This episode features one of the few supernatural elements in the series' typically psychological mysteries.
