Luna stands in a silent white room where the curse's lullaby has been erased, her own heartbeat the only rhythm. Following a seam in the floor, she discovers a carved word that opens a door to a hallway of portraits with blank faces—each woman of the Marguerite line stripped of identity. A child holding a phonograph offers her a chance to write a new lullaby, but it means forgetting everyone bound to the old one. Luna refuses, and the child leads her to the night before the 1889 bargain. In a cottage, the original Marguerite cradles a baby with Luna's own infant eyes. As Luna reaches for herself, the lullaby begins again in her mother's voice, and the door closes behind her.
