Proverbs 1:1-7

1 The proverbs of Solomon, son of David, king of Israel:
2 To know wisdom and instruction,
to understand words of insight,
3 to receive instruction in wise dealing,
in righteousness, justice, and equity;
4 to give prudence to the simple,
knowledge and discretion to the youth—
5 Let the wise hear and increase in learning,
and the one who understands obtain guidance,
6 to understand a proverb and a saying,

7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
fools despise wisdom and instruction

When the springs in the deep were fortified; 29 I witnessed Him lay down the shore as a boundary and put limits on the water And determine the foundations of the earth. 30 I was beside Him, a master craftsman. Every day I was His delightful companion, celebrating every minute in His presence,

Psalm 19:1-4

The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
2 Day after day they pour forth speech;

3 They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
4 Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
