In the midst of this awful quarantine we figured we'd take a look at a slam dunk for this show: Nicolas Cage in THE WICKER MAN. However, it seems to us like the film's reputation can be a bit much at times, and a lot of the thematic elements are... dubious. What eventually forms is a loving serenade to an underappreciated actor unfairly meme'd out of being taken seriously by most. Here's to Nicolas Cage, in the era of pandemic, perhaps when we need him most.
