In Episode 27 of The Sensitive Man Podcast, the spotlight is on the award-winning Japanese short film, "The Widow" ("Yamome" やもめ in Japanese language). Writer & Director Kenjo McCurtain shares details of this film with Simon Lim, including love scams in Japanese society and of older women dating younger men. The main lead of the film, Tokio Oohara (who plays the 40-something widow Tomoko) reveals what she discovered about acting in this film and a dining scene involving the subject of oysters. Actor Hiroyuki Saito shares about older women being attracted to him in real life, and what he thinks about his character Satoshi. And if you have not seen this short film "The Widow", otherwise known as "Yamome" やもめ, you must watch it to learn how people may not be not what they seem.
