His family is truly a cast of charactersâ and he writes about them so beautifully that it was almost as if they were real!

I loved these stories of this incredible family. I grew up with them; their mother was my motherâs best friend. I loved hearing all of their voices again. Thank you, Ted

This family had a wonderful influence on me growing up, close friends to Ted, his mother and father, and his brothers. The wonderful nature of the stories in this book and Ted's great story telling talents is that they are all true, poignant and hysterically funny all at same time. I have read these out loud as bedtime stories to my wife, who has laughed out loud harder than any other time I can recall. These are great memories and great tales of growing up rebellious in an upper middle class New England town in the 1960s and 1970s.

A truly delightful and refreshingly honest book ! Thoroughly Enjoyed every minute of reading it !! It was funny , sad , shocking and admirable all in one ! I found myself laughing out loud and reading some parts to my husband which made him laugh out loud as well :))

I loved this book
Ted Page is a truly marvelous writer. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. But the book has some poignant moments also and it has a surprising ending. This is a book I couldn't put down and ending up reading from cover to cover in one day.
