Welcome to Raven's Readings. I'm reading from The Wind in the Willows, a children's novel written by the British writer, Kenneth Grahame. It's a collection, published in 1908, of bedside stories he had told his son, Alastair. These stories feature various animals, including Mole, Ratty, Badger, and their eccentric friend, Toad.

In the last chapter, Mole revisited his old home, and he and Ratty spent a peaceful night there before returning to the river. Next, they have to visit a friend who is showing some dangerous behaviour.
