We can’t see what God is doing to the trees in the winter, but we’ve learned to trust that He is strengthening their roots and preparing them for Spring. Without an intentional focus on root growth, we wouldn’t be able to celebrate an abundant harvest. The same holds true for the winter season of parenting.
