Dr. Janice May Newsome is a Chief & Director of Interventional Radiology at Emory University School of Medicine. She was recently named the recipient of The Women in IR Champion Award, an award presented by the Society of Interventional Radiology to recognize an individual who has consistently made a significant contribution to the advancement of women in IR, such as in sponsorship, mentorship, teaching, promotion, advocacy, and recruitment. In this episode, Dr. Newsome shares her insights on the significance of mentorship in radiology and how it can shape the careers of medical professionals.
