On this episode of Hemp Can Do It! Kattia speaks with UW-Madison assistant professor of agronomy and Extension specialist Rodrigo Werle. Professor Werle is the leader of the UW-Madison industrial hemp project, he will be researching various grain varieties. Dr. Shelby Ellison will work on industrial hemp extension and education concentrating on hemp grown for CBD. Dr. Ellison will transition into an associate faculty position in the Department of Horticulture in June.
