In this episode, I had the pleasure of talking to Rhys Paddick.
Rhys is an Australian Indigenous educator, artist and (in my humble opinion) a man who has travelled quite a distance on the path to enlightenment.
Rhys has taught Aboriginal art at high schools, and conducts both welcoming ceremonies and acknowledgement of elder ceremonies. Rhys adds a deeper layer to these ceremonies than I've ever seen done before, infusing them with vitality and spirit. He really has the gift of transmitting mindfulness to the audience.
If you're anything like me, you'll finish this conversation with a deep connection to your land, your ancestry and the present moment. Rhys is available to inspire students all over the country!

He's also a wonderful artist. Check out his Instagram here: @the_wholesome_yamatji
