We are living in a day with little regard for authority. We no longer respect elected officials. We criticize and attack any & all. It’s as if we’ve lost all regard for the offices held.

Acceptance & prevalence of Social media attacks have fueled more banality, more frequency & more intensity in our verbal barrages.

To be noticed in our attack environment, comments become increasingly vile. Even when words aren’t released, many carry an overt disregard for leadership. Opposing commentators spew language that incites listeners to disrespect, dislike & disregard.

If we allow them, commentators will work us into an emotional lather that ruins our day.

How does this atmosphere impact out attitude toward Jesus, faith, & congregation? Can this atmosphere cause us to devalue the congregation? Can general disrespect follow me into worship? Does this attack culture make me suspicious of Christ? Or even offensive toward Him?
