The Wish / Amends

In The Wish, Cordelia is still hurt over Xander cheating on her so who better to befriend than a Vengeance Demon? Anya (or Anyanka), the Patron Saint of Scorned Women, is all too happy to grant Cordelia's wish that Buffy Summers had never come to Sunnydale. Kristen & Mike discuss the multiverse theory and compare Giles' "wish" to Cordy's. t's Christmastime in Sunnydale, but no one told the thermostat. As the Scoobies endure a heat wave, Angel endures visits from the ghosts of his victims. As he goes increasingly mad, the Scoobies learn that he's being haunted by the First Evil. Angel can't fight it, but he can take himself out of the fight if he can just make it till sunrise. No conversation about Amends is exempt from a debate about the First Evil. Which Kristen & Mike do. A lot.
