The book of 1 Samuel is a narrative that shows God's work in the lives of prophets, priests, and kings in a way that brings about the Lord's purposes whether those people are aligned with Him or rebelling against Him. Through our study, hopefully we will come to better understand how to participate with God in His work so that we never find ourselves working against Him.
