Season 1, The Witch of Rockwood Cove, follows Kyna, a witch who travels from town to town trying to prevent a hysteria that leads to witch trials, caused by the blight, rye ergot. Since she uses her magic to do so, she ultimately puts herself in danger for a greater cause. The moral to this season's story? Don't light yourself on fire to keep others warm.
