Episode 12: We're All Racist finds Steve and Sarah in their last recording. They discuss how the music industry in Canada is dominated by White folks, how White folks are currently and historically the terrorists in the world we live in and the historic roll RCMP have played in the colonization of Canada. The two also explore how White folks love nice minorities, some racist comments Steve made and how we are all conditioned to be racist.

Episode 11: Looking Inward, Steve and Sarah go deeper inside themselves to discuss some challenging topics. They touch on the Isriele's colonial occupation of Palastinian land, how colonialism abroad is much more easy to engage with rather than here at home, how White skinned/minded folks use false vulnerability to protect themselves and how true growth is only achieved through genuine vulnerability. The two also touch on how Africa developing it's own currency threatens White European global supremacy and how kindness and niceness are different things.

In Episode 10: Vulnerability, Sarah brings up some of the challenges she’s been experiencing when bringing Steve’s Whiteness to his attention. The two also explore a phone call Steve had with a White friend of his who blatantly disagreed with the content of The WLMA Podcast and contrasted this call with other responses from “nice White people” who claim to agree and appreciate the podcast. They also talk about how the disconnects we feel with other people (such as race) represent disconnects with ourselves and how there is an aspect of violence to writing people off who are racist.

In Episode 9: Permission, Steve and Sarah get a chance to catch up, after three episodes with a guest, and Steve is in hot water. Do White people need permission to interrupt someone’s racism, especially another White person? In order to let go of oppressive hierarchies we have internalized, do we need to be reconditioned or is the solution something else? Does niceness trap White people from interrupting racism as well as non-White folks? In Episode 9: Permission, Steve and Sarah explore these questions and more.

In Episode 8: What Does It Mean To Be A Settler?, Sarah and Steve are joined by researcher of hostile architecture and zine curator & editor of @star_roots.zine, Jes Annan. The three explore the intricacies of Settler identity, the irony of Whites telling “immigrants” to go back to where they came from, the trope of the angry Black woman and the connection between race, power and status. Steve expresses some fragility and asserts himself which is later uncovered as coming from an insecurity of feeling like he couldn’t relate to Sarah and Jes’s experiences (uncovered after the recording). Episode 7: Newcomer welcomes our first guest to do a land acknowledgement, Sahana Parameswara, Executive Director at Gateway Association. Steve, Sarah and Sahana discuss how colonial identities are formed by the politics of recognition, how immigrants are streamlined to become a model minority in Canada's "cultural mosaic" by erasing their past and other interesting topics such as immigrant guilt, examining White benevolence, exclusion for inclusion's sake and the expectation of ignoring the history of the (Indigenous) peoples of the land you are settling on.

In Episode 6: All About Love, Sarah and Steve welcome their first guest Jennifer Fournier to the table. Jennifer opens up about her experience with post-secondary institutions as an Indigenous mixed-race Woman. The three explore how love and whiteness can't coexist and explore several quotes from Bell Hooks' book All About Love such as "there can be no love without justice." The conversation leads to an insight for Steve on how his dominance has played a role in his long time relationship with Jennifer.

Episode 5: You're Wrong, Steve and Sarah are back, and this time things get a little sticky as security removes them from 5th Avenue Place. In the recording, Steve refers to Indigenous people in Canada as "Our Indigenous People" and Sarah explores with him how this wording comes from an internalized and unearned sense of ownership and superiority. They also explore how Steve's defensiveness caused him to impulsively discredit Sarah, "You're Wrong." They also discuss how White people expect BIPOC folks to provide free education on racism, how Steve's White friends interpret the podcast and how White people will use capitalism and other forms of oppression to avoid talking about racism.

In Episode 4: Institutionalization, Stephen shares, with Sarah, his reflections on being in the helping industry for over 40 years. They also explore White solidarity and the internal pangs that stop White folks from breaking it.

In Episode 3: Feeling Attacked, Steve and Sarah explore how race intersects with the Ukraine war, touches on safe spaces (safe for who?), how All Live Matter is a White-Fragility response to the Black Lives Matter Awakening, how words matter and how White People just talk way too much and the differences between good listening and bad listening.
