Maureen is the Chief People Officer of GoodVets. Maureen is an experienced HR leader and entrepreneur with a demonstrated history of working across industries. Maureen joined GoodVets in 2019 because of the opportunity to have a positive impact on people and people processes in the veterinary industry, an industry whose professionals are too often mistreated and underappreciated. Prior to GoodVets, Maureen worked for several years at PEAK6, a global investment firm based in Chicago. Maureen held various roles at PEAK6, including running talent acquisition and most recently, as the HR Business Partner that supports PEAK6’s startup venture investments. As a member of the people team at PEAK6, Maureen implemented innovative talent programs and introduced diverse recruiting practices. Prior to PEAK6, Maureen worked within talent acquisition at Walgreens and Grant Thornton, focusing primarily on university recruiting and strategy.
