Mike Nevergall is a Gift Planner for Gustavus Adolphus College in Saint Peter, Minnesota. In his role, Mike works with Gustavus alumni and friends to see how their philanthropy can impact the College and its mission. Mike is originally from a small town in northern Ohio, and he has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Valparaiso University in Indiana and a Master's degree in Nonprofit Administration from North Park University in Chicago. Mike stumbled into the nonprofit sector mostly by chance, but when he did, he found his true vocation and has spent 15+ years working in disaster response, child and family services, and higher education. Mike and his family live in Minneapolis where they love to explore the outdoors and visit local breweries. In his spare time, Mike likes to read (mostly non-fiction) and competes in endurance races.
